Marking the occasion, DHL arranged a four-day programme from September 23 to 26 in participation of its senior officials, employees and the students of Jaago Foundation, an organisation providing education to the disadvantaged children, said a press release Saturday.
The DHL employees also got together with the students of ABC School on September 26. The programme included vaccination for children and distribution of school bags and other gifts to the students.
"We always believe in extending support to the society, and through our Volunteer Day we are putting that belief into action," Country Manager of DHL Express Bangladesh Desmond Quiah told a function on Volunteer Day.
