Diabetes: Changing sedentary lifestyle

The name of Bangladesh is among the top ten countries in the world which have the highest rate of diabetes and it is alarming news for us and we must take preventive measures against its spread. We can prevent some diabetes by leading a disciplined life.  Around 5 million people are affected by this disease and we cannot ignore it anymore. We need to make the common people aware so that they can take appropriate steps to prevent it.
Rapid urbanization, inactive, unhealthy, sedentary lifestyle and increase in obesity are a few reasons behind the rising number of diabetes in our country. By adopting healthy, active lifestyle we can prevent diabetes. Regular workout and vigorous physical actives can lower the chances of having diabetes. The good news is that more and more people are quitting their sedentary lifestyle and joining gym, cycling and other rigorous physical activities. As a parent we should live a healthy life with a healthy diet so that our children can learn the same. We have to take urgent action so that we can create awareness among the common people about living a healthy life and stay away from diabetes which has been spreading alarmingly in our country in recent time. The government needs to take a long-term plan to save our citizen from this potentially dangerous health condition.
