Diabetes Day observed in Rangpur

RANGPUR, Nov 15: World Diabetes Day, 2010, was observed Sunday in a befitting manner.
To mark the day the Rangpur District Diabetic Committee brought out a colourful rally.
Later, a discussion meeting was held at Rangpur Diabetic centre. Vice-chancellor of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur, Professor Dr. Abdul Jalil Miah attended the discussion as the chief guest while Dr. Zakir Hossain, head of the medicine department, Rangpur medical college hospital, was present as the special guest.
Deputy Commissioner of Rangpur, BM Enamul Haque presided over the discussion.
