Dialogue only if BNP recognises govt: Shajahan Khan

Saturday, 25 January 2014

Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan has ruled out any dialogue with the BNP unless the party recognises the government.
“This government has been constitutionally installed. No talks can be held as long as you will term us illegal,” he said at a rally in Rajbari Saturday noon.
He urged the BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to recognise the government and take the path of democracy.
The rally was organised on the premises of Goalanda Upazila Court on the occasion of inauguration of Daulatdia ferry pier’s road-vehicle digital weighbridge scale, according to a news agency.
