Different bodies laud PM's India visit

Different socio-political organisations have hailed Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina for her successful visit to India saying the visit has opened a new horizon of relationship between the two neighbouring countries.
In separate statements, the leaders of the organisations said the summit between the two primers would help cast a positive impact on the steps to remove mistrust and doubts that existed for a long between the two countries, reports BSS.
In a statement, Dr AK Azad Chowdhury and Subir Kusari, president and general secretary respectively of the Bangladesh-India Friendship Association, termed the visit a big diplomatic success for Bangladesh.
In a separate statement, leaders of Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote criticised Leader of the Opposition Khaleda Zia for her remarks about the Prime Minister's India visit.
