Digital Bangladesh

Saturday, 4 July 2009

THE present-day world is now on one's fingertip. Why do we lag behind? The present government came to power with a commitment to turning Bangladesh into a digital one. But, we cannot reach that goal unless we have the facility at large for connections with information and communication technology (ICT). So we want the government to initiate effective actions at the earliest. And as part of efforts for achieving the goal of digital Bangladesh, the newspapers internet-browsing should be provided at free of cost. In this connection, the mobile-phone operators, along with the government, need to come forward in the greater interest of the country.
