Digital Innovation Fair begins in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA, Jan 23: A three- day 'Digital Innovation Fair'-2015 began on Independence Square here on Thursday with a call to reach digital services to the doorsteps of the people. District administration has organized the fair under Access to Information Programme of Prime Minister Office funded jointly by Bangladesh government, USAID and UNDP. The objective of the fair is to inform all about what types of services of the government and non government offices are being provided to the people through digitised process within less cost and short time. Deputy Commissioner (DC) M Ehsan-e-Elahi formally inaugurated the fair by cutting a red tape and went round the stalls set up in the fair as the chief guest.     — BSS
