Dilip Das Gupta has been elevated to the rank of senior general manager (SGM) of Comm-ercial Bank of Ceylon Ltd in recognition of his role in establishing the institution as one of the best rated foreign banks in Bangladesh.
Before joining the bank in 2003, Dilip Das Gupta was the general manager of Credit Agricole Indosuez, Dhaka (Largest Bank in France).
The French government honoured him as 'Knight of the National Order of Merit'.
