Dipali JS beat Urban SCD by 194 runs

Dipali Jubo Shangha notched a huge 194 runs win over Urban Sports and Cultural Development in a match of the Dhaka Metropolitan Women's Cricket League at Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium in Dhaka on Monday, reports UNB.
Batting first after winning the toss, Dipali JS scored 241 runs for 4 wickets in stipulated 40 overs.
In the opening stand, Jyoti Chouhan and Nupur contributed 139 runs in 27.1 overs.
Jyoti Chouhan scored unbeaten 85 runs to be adjudged player-of-the-match while Nupur added 58 runs.
Dolon Akter (24) and Anu Akter (19) were other scorers for Dipali JS.
Tasnova Tamanna and Khodeja Akter took two wickets each for 50 and 54 runs respectively.
Chasing 241 runs, Urban SCD were dismissed cheaply 47 runs in 20.4 overs. There were no double digit scorers for Urban SCD.
Nigar Sultana claimed three wickets for 15 runs while Fuara Begum and Nasrin Akter Sorul took two wickets each for 2 and 8 runs respectively.
Abahani vs BKSP
In the day's other match, Abahani defeated BKSP by 49 runs at BKSP Ground-3 in Savar.
Batting first after winning the toss, Abahani scored 140 runs for all in 40 overs.
Opener Sharmin Sultana scored team highest 36 runs while Subarna Islam (25) and Lata Mondal (15) were the other double digit scorers for Abahani.
Nahida Akter captured five wickets for 23 runs while Sanjida Akter Sumi, Dolly Rani and Jannatul Ferdous took one wicket each.
Chasing 141 runs, BKSP were dismissed for 91 runs in 32 overs.
Murshida Khatun Happy (15), Morsheda Khatun (not out 10) and Nahida Akter (10) were the double digit scorers for BKSP.
Subarna Islam grabbed four wickets for 8 runs in 8 overs to be adjudged player-of-the-match. Lata Mondal captured three wickets for 21 runs and Jahanara Alam took two wickets.
