Diplomat Shehab\\\'s qulkhwani today

The qulkhwani of noted diplomat KM Shehab Uddin will be held today (Friday) after Asr prayers at Baridhara DOHS Mosque in the city, said a press release.
Relatives, friends and admirers have been requested to attend the qulkhwani to pray for salvation of the departed soul.
KM Shehab Uddin (75) died on April 15 at a city hospital after a prolonged illness. He was one of the first diplomats who risked the lives of his wife and two children to bravely disengage from the Pakistan government posted in New Delhi and declare allegiance to the Mujibnagar government in 1971.
He left behind his wife, four daughters and a brother (Dr Prof KM Fariduddin, retired secretary and former adviser Ibrahim Medical College, Dhaka) and a host of relatives to mourn his death.
