Directives to remove waste of sacrificial animals
Friday, 3 October 2014
The Environment and Forest Ministry on Thursday issued some directives to make people aware about preventing environment pollution with proper removal of waste of sacrificial animals during the Eid-ul-Azha. In an official handout, the ministry called upon all to remove waste of sacrificial animals in a manner suitable for environment, drop waste and blood of the animals in dustbins instead of drains and elsewhere. The ministry also advised them to inform the nearby city corporations, municipalities and union councils for quick disposal of the waste and requested all to use environment friendly bags or containers to remove the waste and distribute meat of sacrificial animals. — BSS
