Discipline in coop sector being restored

State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives Moshiur Rahman Ranga on Saturday said the discipline in the cooperatives sector is being restored by taking stern action against dishonest and mushroom cooperative societies. The government will patronise honest and dedicated cooperative members and public welfare-oriented cooperative societies for creating employment and in poverty alleviation, he said this while addressing the annual conference of Muslim Bazar Multipurpose Cooperative Society in city’s Pallabi, according to a news agency.
