Discussion meet on Bangabandhu at JU

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Aug 11 (BSS): A discussion meeting on Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was held at the seminar room of Jahir Raihan auditorium on the campus here today marking the 40th martyred anniversary.
JU authority organised the discussion while Minister of the Public Administration Ministry and General Secretary of ruling Awami League Syed Ashraful Islam addressed the function as the chief guest.
JU Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abul Hossain delivered the welcome speech while former Vice-Chancellor of the university and incumbent member of Public Service Commission Professor Dr. Shariff Enamul Kabir presented a key-note on Bangabandhu. Minister Syed Ashraf said that Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman thought the process of voting system for the people in the then East Pakistan while there was no voting rights.
