Discussion on \\\'Adulteration-Free Safe Food\\\' at DU

A discussion on ‘Adulteration-Free Safe Food: Our Responsibility’ has been held at Dhaka University (DU) Senate Bhaban. National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Chairman Prof Mizanur Rahman addressed the discussion as the chief guest with DU Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique with in the chair. Public Health Foundation of Bangladesh Chairman Mozaherul Haque presented the keynote on the occasion. Prof Mizanur said if traders can get standard technology of marketing food, they would not be interested in mixing up formalin or such kind of chemical in food. Stressing on importing organic preservative in preventing food adulteration, he urged the law enforcers to perform their duty properly to ensure security to public health, according to BSS.
