Discussion on Janata Bank corporatisation held

A discussion meeting on 'Corporatisation of Janata Bank' was held at the bank's conference room in the city Wednesday, said a press release.
Chairman of the bank's board of directors Suhel Ahmed Choudhury was present as the chief guest on the occasion while Managing Director of the bank Md Mukter Hussain presided over the meeting.
Members of the board of directors Muhammad Abdul Mazid, Muhammad Al-Maruf Khan, Masud Ahmed, M Zarziul Islam, Md Azizur Rahman and Habib Abu lbrahim, and Deputy Secretary of the Finance Division Md Shadullah Miah, on behalf of the government, were present on the occasion as the special guests.
Suhel Ahmed Choudhury, in his speech on the process of corporatisation of the bank, said due to corporatisation the bank's efficiency, decision-making process and responsibility will increase.
