Discussion on management of Islamic banking

A discussion on "Management of Islamic Banking and Poverty Alleviation" followed by Iftar Mahfil was organised by the foreign exchange branch of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) at its head office in the city recently.
Vice-chairman of the board of directors of IBBL Engr Mostafa Anwar was present as the chief guest while Deputy Managing Director Md Setaur Rahmar was the special guest at the function, said a press release.
IBBL Executive Vice President and incumbent of the branch Md Abdul Jabbar presided over the function while IBBL Shari'ah Council Member Moulana Abdus Shahid Naseem dwelt on the main topics.
Also present on the occasion were IBBL vice presidents AKM Nurul Islam and Md Farid Uddin, and Assistant Vice President Abu Sufian, Managing Director of Badsha Textile Mills Limited Badsha Mia, Managing Director of Chaina-Bangla Ceramic Industries Limited Serajul Islam, Managing Director of Jamal Uddin Textile Mills Limited Jamal Uddin, Chairman of Dalas Fashion Limited Dr Abidur Rahman, Chairman of Ofazuddin Group Abdul Mannan, Proprietor of M/S FR Trading, Engineer Salah Uddin and Chairman of Solar Television and Manufacturing Company Limited Sohel Khan.
