Discussion on President\\\'s speech in JS begins

The general discussions on thanksgiving motion on the President's speech started in Parliament. Chief Whip ASM Firoz moved the motion, which was supported by treasury bench member Noor-e Alam Chowdhury. Awami League leader Mohammad Ali Ashraf was the lone discussant on the first day of the general discussions. He thanked the President for his speech as he highlighted various pro-people measures of the government, according to a news agency.
