Div commissioner distributes relief in N'ganj

NARAYANGANJ, Aug 11 (BSS): Divisional Commissioner of Dhaka Akram Ahmed distributed cooked food among 500 flood-hit people at Monohor Government Primary School under Araihazar Upazila this afternoon.
Narayanganj district administration arranged the relief distribution programme.
Deputy Commissioner Faizul Kabir, UNO of Araihazar Tapan Kumar Karmokar and NDC Mohammad Jasim Uddin were present on the occasion.
Narayanganj Sanskritik Jote, a socio-cultural organization, also distributed five-kg rice to each of the 200 flood- affected people at Chashara Shaheed Minar in the morning.
President of the organization Zahidul Hoque Dipu and its former president Rafiur Rabbi, among others, were present during the relief distribution.
