Div I Cricket Agrani Bank earn victory over City Club

Agrani Bank earned an easy 69-run victory over City Club in a super league match of the Metropolis First Division Cricket at the Dhaka University ground Thursday featuring two centuries by Mehdi Hasan and Sadaf Sarker, reports UNB.
Winning the toss, the bankers’ team batted first to score a huge 326 runs for one in 50 overs.
Mehdi Hasan made a century scoring unbeaten 158 runs off 155 balls featuring 14 fours and eight sixes while Sadaf Sarker contributed another ton making not out 134 off 138 balls hitting 10 fours and four sixes.
In reply, City Club was all out for 257 runs in 42.1 overs with Rajul Ahsan making 60 and Jonny 57.
In the day’s other matches, Prime Doleshwar SC (141/8 in 36.2 overs) beat Eskaton Sabuj Sangha (137/10 in 39.2) by two wickets at Fatullah Stadium, Orient SC (168/3 in 35.5) defeated Rupali Bank KP (163/10 in 48) by seven wickets at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium while Uttara SC (198/8 in 49) beat Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club (171/9 in 49) by 27 runs at BKSP.
