Div II Cricket Aslam stars in East End win

Aslam Ali Khan was in good form as he prevailed in both batting and bowling as East End Club marched on to an emphatic five-wicket victory over Dhanmondi Cricket Academy in the Second Division Cricket League match at the BKSP in the city Tuesday, reports BSS.
Dhanmondi Cricket Academy asked to bat first were bowled out for 206 in 49.2 overs.
Mahfuzur Rahman was the leading batsman for Dhanmondi with 48 runs while Aslam Ali Khan was the leading wicket taker for the winners with three wickets for 41 runs.
In reply, East End Club reached their target scoring 210 in 43.1 overs for the loss of five wickets thanks again to Aslam Ali who scored a defiant 69 runs.
Shyama Prasad was the top bowler for the vanquished with two wickets for 40 runs.
In the day's other matches, North Bengal Cricket Academy (214/10 in 49.5 overs) recorded an overwhelming 83 runs win over Kalabagan Cricket Academy (131/10 in 40.3 overs) at the City Club ground.
Farashganj Sporting Club (128/4 in 36 overs) outplayed Sadharan Bima Krira Sangha (127/10 in 33.2 overs)) by six wickets at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium.
