The Dhaka Medical College (DMC) will reopen very soon, its Principal Dr Kazi Deen Mohammad said Wednesday.
He said they will reopen the college (DMC) as soon as possible and the academic council of the college will hold another meeting on the issue. "The meeting will be arranged within a week," he added.
The principal of the college emphasised the need for banning student politics at the college for a certain period so that the authorities could again start all the classes and examinations of MBBS courses without any chaos.
"If necessary we'll request the authority concerned in this connection," he said.
Dr Mohammad said stern action will be taken against those persons who will be found responsible for the bloody clashes.
He said the DMC authorities are very serious about reopening the college as soon as they can so that the general students do not suffer any longer.
