DMP ensures tight security for Nat\\\'l Eidgah

Security measures will be adequate at National Eidgah where the main Eid-ul-Fitr jamat (congregation) is scheduled to be held, Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Benazir Ahmed said on Monday. The DMP Commissioner visited the Eidgah to see the preparations and the security measures. He said anti-crime equipment have already been installed at the Eidgah, which will be covered by CCTV cameras. An emergency medical centre will be opened to provide emergency services, he said. In Bangladesh Eid-ul-Fitr, the largest religious festival of Muslims, will be celebrated on Tuesday as the Shawal moon was sighted on Monday evening, according to UNB.
