DMP files 2,508 cases for traffic rule violation

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) traffic department officials filed 2,508 cases for violation of traffic rules - through conducting drives in different areas of the capital on Sunday.
They also dumped 71 vehicles, while 72 others were shifted to dumping zone to keep for a certain period.
An official at the DMP traffic department told the FE that their ongoing drive, which started in mid-August last year, would continue to restore discipline on the city roads.
