DMP provides Tk 7.5m to 159 police members' families

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Thursday provided over Tk 7.5 million to the family members of 159 injured, dead, and ailing police members.
DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md Sajjad Ali distributed the financial assistance to the family members at the DMP headquarters in the capital.
Wishing early recovery of injured police personnel and salvation of departed souls of those who died while on duty, he said that the monetary support was disbursed from the welfare fund of DMP.
He assured support for treatment of the injured and ailing police members.
