DNCC conducts drives at Mohakhali

A mobile court of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) conducted drives in city's Mohakhali area aiming to curb dengue mosquito breeding ground in the capital.
The court also fined Tk 0.2 million to Partex Group after observing unclean atmosphere behind its head office.
The mobile court led by Executive Magistrate of DNCC Mohammad Sajid Anowar conducted the drive on Wednesday in the presence of the DNCC Mayor Atiqul Islam.
A resident near the office of the Partex Group said the officials of the group did not allow mosquito repellent workers in the area on Sunday.
The drives were conducted as per Local Government (City Corporation) Act, 2009.
Such drives of the DNCC will continue in the coming days to curb dengue outbreak, according to a statement.
