DNCRP fines two shops Tk 0.2m

The Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) conducted a drive at the capital's Gulshan-2 on Monday.
Assistant Director of the directorate's Dhaka office Md Abdul Jabbar Mondal led the drive that raided different business establishments in the area.
It fined two shops a total of Tk 0.2 million, Tk 0.1 million each, as they were found selling different types of cosmetics items at high prices. The names of the business establishments are Astorian and Body Line.
The consumer rights agency has been carrying out drives against unscrupulous traders and business establishments under the Consumer Rights Protection Act-2009.
