Do not dispose of textbooks of previous years

We collect and preserve various books of literature, science, philosophy and so on in our personal library. But regrettably most of us do not preserve the text books of the previous classes with us. If we would keep text books, we could be benefited in many ways.
If we have text books near our hand, we can easily consult them whenever we will need them. While doing mathematics of the current year, we might need to consult the mathematics books of the previous years. Sometimes it so happens that in order to get clear concept about the current text, we need the knowledge of the texts of the previous years. In that case, if we have books of the previous years within our reach, we can consult them easily and eventually can get clear concept about the current subject.
The MBBS students of medical colleges preserve all their books of the all the years. They might need to consult the books of the previous year regularly. Even when practicing during professional life, they do not forget to preserve the books that they studied. Obviously these students also try to collect latest edition books in order to update heir knowledge.
Human brains have the common tendency to forget what they have learned. It cannot be hoped that every knowledge of previous year what has been learned will remain in their brain. If they have books of their previous year in their shelves, students can easily consult those and can have good knowledge of the current courses.
Sometimes they can revise and review the books of the previous year. If they still have good knowledge of those subjects that they have read in the previous year, they can easily suggest their juniors about how to read. In addition, they can help juniors understand any problem. This type of co-operation towards juniors will help them develop their skill of explaining others to a great extent which, in turn, will develop their communication skill. Later, they would be able to deliver the concepts whenever they would need.
Thinking of checking your personal collection of texts? If you find you do not have the books of the previous years, you can always collect them with new vigour. Better late than never. You may collect the latest edition books from the market. Once you have collected, review those books from time to time.

Your strength is you have good understanding of the texts, also maybe you have explained those lessons to the junior students many times.
