State Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing has said doctors should take more care about their patients as they can give relief to them with good behaviour. ‘Behaviour and passionate are essential qualities of a physician, which help patients recover from diseases,’ he said while speaking as the chief at the inaugural ceremony of the 50-bed hospital in Lama Upazila in Bandarban. The state minister also distributed medicated mosquito nets free of cost among the common people under malaria control project of GFTM round-9. Chaired by Bandarban Civil Surgeon Dr Mongte Jha, the programme was also addressed, among others, by Deputy Commissioner KM Tariqul Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police M Mahtab Hossain, member of Hill Tracts District Parishad and District Awami League General Secretary Kazi Mojibur Rahman, chairman of Hill Tracts District Parishad Mangkyaching Chowdhury, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Samsun Nahar Sumi and executive director of Ekota Mohila Samity Anwara Begum and others, according to a news agency.
