Doctor killed in road crash

A doctor was killed and three other people were injured in a road accident in Boda Upazila in Panchagarh district on Tuesday. The dead is Samsuddin Ahmed, 92, a homeopathic doctor and resident of Bolrampur union under Atwari Upazila. Witnesses said a bus coming from Dhaka hit Shamsuddin in Satkhamar Bus Stand area on Panchagarh-Thakurgaon Highway, leaving him dead on the spot and three others injured. Two of the injured were rushed to Boda Upazila Health Complex and another, with critical injuries, was taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital, according to a news agency.
