Doctors hint at overdose in Sunanda case

Sunanda Pushkar, wife of Indian union minister Shashi Tharoor, might have died of drug overdose, thinks doctors of the medical board formed to carry out her autopsy.
The preliminary findings for her autopsy were submitted in a report to a Sub-Divisional Magistrate Monday, says NDTV in a report.
Sunanda, 52, was discovered dead by her husband in the room of a five-star hotel in Delhi  Friday.
Doctors who examined her body could not say if she took her own life, but she bore signs of non-fatal injury, according to a news agency.
The report timed her death between 4pm and 6pm on Friday. There were traces of the anti-depressant drug, Alprazolam, found in her blood, which was clear of alcohol.
Sunanda’s death follows a marital strife made public through tweet messages in which she accused her husband of having an affair with a Pakistani, who she accused of being an ISI agent.
