Doctors, nurse of Ad-Din Hospital sued

JESSORE, Mar 6: Three doctors and one nurse of Ad-Din Hospital, a private clinic in Jessore town, were sued by one Parimal Kumar Shil of Bejpara.
The case was filed with a district court in Jessore recently.
Namita Rani, daughter-in law (son's wife) of complainant Parimal, and her twin babies died due to allegedly negligence of doctors and nurses.
The accused are: Dr Mohiuddin, director of Ad-Din Hospital, Dr Shila Poddar and Dr Rafique and staff nurse Rupali.
According to the case, Namita Rani admitted to Ad-Din Hospital and took maternity card on June 23, 2008. On December 20, Namita gave birth to twin babies after cesarean operation. Later, the mother and the babies died at the hospital due to negligence of doctors and nurses.
