Domestic help found dead

Body of a teenage maid was found hanging from the ceiling of the house of her master at Dakkhin Bothina village in Sadar upazila of Thakurgaon Friday. The deceased was identified as Marjina Khatun (13), daughter of Abdul Motaleb of Kaleswar Adarsha village of the upazila.Marjina had been working in the house of Khademul Islam for the last three months, sources said. Marjina's father was informed that she had committed suicide. He alleged that his daughter was killed after rape and then hanged to prove that she had committed suicide. - UNB
