Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim asked on Sunday the students not to get admitted into those private medical colleges banned by the ministry as the government will not take any responsibility for it, reports BSS.
"We will not take responsibility if any student gets admitted to those private medical colleges banned by the ministry for irregularities," he said.
He was presiding over a meeting on the policy of private medical colleges, said a press release.
Nasin said, "Moreover, we will take stern action against the authorities of the banned private medical colleges and cancel the registration of the students," he added.
He urged the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) to look into the matter of cancellation of registration of the students.
