'Don't harass passengers'

Traffic police under Wari Division in Dhaka urged the bus operators at Sayedabad Bus Terminal not to harass the passengers and charge them extra fare. Gobinda Chandra Pal, Deputy Police Commissioner (Traffic), at a meeting also asked the bus operators not to misbehave with the passengers.
He made the call following the allegation made by the passengers that a section of inter-district bus operators used to force passengers to board their respective buses. The police official also called upon the bus owners, drivers and helpers to play an active role in stopping harassment of passengers.
