Don’t get confused with recent remarks: PM

Thursday, 10 April 2014

Apparently referring to BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and her son Tarique Rahman’s recent remarks against Bangabandhu, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday urged people not be confused with the motivated remarks of those who never wanted Bangladesh’s independence. “Those who never wanted the country’s independence, those who still want to live sucking the feet of the defeated forces, then its natural they’ll say many things. I’ll urge the people of the country not to be confused over such confusing remarks of those,” she said. Hasina was making her speech on thanksgiving motion on the President’s speech and also as her winding up speech in the first session of the 10th parliament in the evening, according to a news agency.
