Doubtful spending on education

According to recent media reports, the Awami League-led government is about to tread the familiar path of increasing budgetary allocations to the education sector. The increased allocation for education would be justified as the government's enlightened policy to speed up economic growth.
But the consensus expert opinion in the country is that it would be a great waste to pump in more and more resources into the education sector unless it is properly spent.
