DPDC gets new MD

Abdullah Noman has joined as Managing Director (MD) of Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC) under the Power Division of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, says a press release.
He took over the charge at a simple ceremony on Sunday.
As an expert engineer, Abdullah Noman has been working in the country's power sector for more than three decades. During his long career, he held various important positions in this sector.
Prior to joining as MD, he discharged his responsibilities as Executive Director (ICT & Procurement) of DPDC and previously served as Chief Engineer at Bangladesh Power Development Board.
Abdullah Noman did his graduation from the Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET). He attended various trainings and seminars at home and abroad.
