DPDC, Oculin Tech sign contract

Dhaka Power Distribution Company Ltd (DPDC) and the JVCA of Oculin Tech BD Ltd, Landis+Gyr Ltd & Computer Services Ltd signed a contract in the city recently for a project titled 'Design, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) with Smart Metering System on Turnkey Basis', said a press release.
State Minister for Power, Energy & Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid attended the contract-signing programme as the chief guest. Power Division Secretary and DPDC Chairman Dr. Sultan Ahmed joined the event as the special guest. DPDC Managing Director Engineer Bikash Dewan was also present.
Shadab Sajid, Managing Director and Rumman Akhter, CTO & Director, represented Oculin Tech at the event while Landis+Gyr was represented by Prasenjit Datta, the release added.
