DPDC realises Tk 522.9m pending bills

Country's largest power distribution company, Dhaka Power Distribution Company Ltd (DPDC), realised outstanding electricity bills worth Tk 522.9 million between June 21 and 25 which is the highest amount collected in any special weekly drive. Thirteen out of the total 36 DPDC units collected the revenue in Dhaka and Narayanganj from different industrial organisations. Of the pending bills, there were also ones unpaid since 1971. — FE Report
