DPDC signs MoU with SR Enterprise to set up EV charging stations

With the slogan 'Easier Charging, Pollution-free Driving', Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with SR Enterprise to set up electric vehicles (EVs) charging stations, said a press release.
DPDC Secretary (Deputy Secretary) Md Asaduzzaman and SR Enterprise Chief Executive Officer Khandker Ashikuzzaman signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations at the DPDC conference room on Thursday.
Managing Director of DPDC Engineer Bikash Dewan attended the function as the chief guest while Chairman of People's Group Khandker Moshiuzzaman Romel was the special guest.
Bikash Dewan called for an increased use of electric vehicles to counter the adverse impact of climate change and to decrease Carbon emissions.
He also called upon various organisations to take assistance of DPDC to set up charging stations.
Khandker Ashikuzzaman assured of building a carbon emission and pollution-free, green, sustainable future. Executive Director, Chief Engineers and high officials of both the companies were present at the event, the release added.
