Dr Aziz, late Dr Mahbub get BB Award

Dr Azizur Rahman, Professor Emeritus of the University of California, USA, and late Dr Mahbub Hossain, former executive director of BRAC, got the 'Bangladesh Bank Award-2017' in recognition of their contribution to economy, reports BSS.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith will hand over the award at a programme to be held at the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) at Mirpur at 4:00pm today (Sunday), said a BB media release.
Each of the award recipients will get a gold medal, a Bangladesh Bank crest and a cash amount of Taka 0.2 million (two lakh).
A jury board led by BB Governor Fazle Kabir selected the recipients of the award.
