Dr Kamal slams govt again for hurried move to amend charter

Noted jurist and constitution expert Dr Kamal Hossain on Saturday alleged that the government is trying to impose another constitutional amendment on people in a supersonic speed. “The government is going to amend the constitution in a supersonic speed… Why are they imposing it (on people) so hurriedly? You need to take time for brining such a major amendment. There’s still scope for discussions on the issue,” he said responding to a question at BBC Songlap. The 85th episode of the BBC Bangladesh Songlap took place at Biam auditorium in the city, according to a news agency.
