Dr Mahabub elected ASAE president

Noted development economist and Executive Director of BRAC Dr Mahabub Hossain has been elected president of the Asian Society for Agricultural Economists (ASAE).
Dr Mahabub has been given the honour at the recently concluded event held in Hanoi of Vietnam, according to a press release.
Meanwhile, the ASAE has decided to hold its next conference in Bangladesh in November 2013, which will be hosted by BRAC.
