Dr Maksud Helali new KUET VC

Dr Md Maksud Helali, a retired professor of Mechanical Engineering at BUET, has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor (VC) of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), reports UNB.
The appointment was announced on Thursday in a gazette, issued by the Ministry of Education with the approval of the President.
Under Section 10(1) of the KUET Act 2003, Dr Helali will serve a four-year term.
