Dr Salim new president of ICMAB

Prof Dr Md Salim Uddin, chairman of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC), was elected the president of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) for 2024 on Sunday, says a statement.
Besides, Mahtab Uddin Ahmed and Akhtaruzzaman were elected vice-presidents and SM Zahir Uddin Haider and Abdul Matin Patwary were elected secretary and treasurer respectively.
Prof Dr Md Salim is currently a professor in the Accounting Department of the University of Chittagong. He is also serving as the chairman of the Union Bank Ltd.
