Dr Wahiduddin Mahmud honoured

Eminent economist Prof Dr Wahiduddin Mahmud was accorded a reception on Wednesday for his outstanding contributions to the country's economy through his works and researches. Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) and vernacular business daily Banik Barta jointly accorded the reception to the country's noted economist at a city hotel in the evening. BIDS Director General Dr Mustafa Kamal Mujeri and Banik Barta Editor Hanif Mahmud handed over a shawl and a crest to Dr Wahiduddin Mahmud, according to a news agency.
