Dr Wazed's Qulkhwani at Jamuna today

Qulkhwani of eminent nuclear scientist and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's husband Dr MA Wazed Miah will be held at the PM's official residence Jamuna in the city after Asr prayers today (Thursday). Guests have been requested not to carry handbag, camera, mobile phone, electronic goods, umbrella, etc. to the venue of the Qulkhwani, said an official release. To maintain sanctity of the function, it said, the guests should use two routes -- one from Sheraton crossing to Kakrail Mosque near the Chief Justice's residence and the other from Bailey Road crossing near Officers' Club to Jamuna.
