Dhaka Mohammedan SC and Sheikh Russell KC finished their B League campaigns with identical 1-1 draws against their respective opponents Wednesday.
At the Bangabandhu National Stadium, Arambagh KS forced giants Mohammedan SC to split points in 1-1 draw in their last match of the B League, reports UNB.
Mohammedan SC, which earlier emerged the runners-up in the league, improved their position securing 40 points while Arambagh KS finished 6th with 27 points, both playing 20 matches.
In the day's match, Nigerian recruit Anunda Nicodemus scored for Arambagh KS while Rony netted the equaliser for Mohammedan SC. Arambagh KS led the first half 1-0.
Nicodemus put Arambagh KS ahead in the 32nd minute with an angular shot from inside the D-box off a Moloy Barman close pass (1-0).
Rony restored parity for Mohammedan SC in the 77th minute with a powerful shot from inside the danger zone capitalising on a left wing Emeka cross (1-1).
Nigerian striker Chebuike Divine of Mohammedan SC got the marching order in the second half after receiving two consecutive yellow cards for making fouls on the opponent defenders.
Both the teams played attacking football all through the match and created some real scoring chances, but failed to further increase their goal margin.

Muktijoddha Sangsad KC, which also collected 33 points, finished third in the points table with a better goal difference.
