Driver, helper killed as 2 trucks collide in Habiganj

A truck driver and his helper were killed in a head-on collision between two trucks in Sutang area in Habiganj Sadar Upazila on Wednesday morning. The deceased were identified as truck driver Abu Bakkar, 42, and his helper Rakib Hasan Rony, 18. They hailed from C&B area of Chuadanga. Police said a Dhaka-bound truck collided head-on with another truck standing on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway around 4:00am, leaving the two dead on the spot. A case was filed, according to a news agency.
