Driver, helper killed as trucks collide in Sylhet

SYLHET, Dec 10 (UNB): A truck driver and his helper were killed in a head-on collision between two trucks at Sutang in Sadar upazila of Habiganj district early Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as truck driver Abu Bakar,42 and his helper Rakib Hasan Rony,18. They hail from C&B area of Chuadanga district.
Police said a Dhaka-bound truck collided head-on with another truck standing on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway due to dense fog in the area at about 4:00 am, leaving the duo dead on the spot.
Informed, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Habiganj Sadar Adhunik Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
